The audience for my portfolio would be anyone interested in this class because I will explain what I learned throughout this class with previous work that I’ve written. I know that my audience will gather a lot of information from my portfolio. The purpose of my portfolio is to inform the readers what I’ve learned from the class, the type of writing I’ve done and how it’s something different from what I usually write. The language of my portfolio would be professional because I will write in proper order and properly cite my information. I will not use words that are used in a regular conversation. The tone will be informative because I will be including plenty of information and explaining each citation. The genre will be a portfolio but also essay format because it will be showcasing my work but I will be explaining each source in paragraph form.
