Writing shows I can write professionally as I am writing like I write answers in science exam straight to the point, no advanced vocab,
In social science, you can’t talk too much about figures like no one would be interested in composition of air as how much oxygen and nitrogen is there.
2nd paragraph is kind of bridge as it serves the purpose to ask don’t u think the air pollution should be discussed but it is not asking directly and actually not asking but making you to discuss.
Audience: – Audience would be professional, somehow difficult for the normal person to visualize but the audience for model essay was somehow moderate so it was difficult to stay in between.
AUDIENCE is key to the writing
Impact: Audience do create impact as if it would have been a paper for social science it would have been different, because I wouldn’t be talking compound in somehow details, There was an issue when u can’t define thing in simple words to some people like how can u teach a kid how clouds are filled with water (he won’t be able to understand precipitation and condensation)
I am realizing that we cannot somehow ask rhetorical question in the essay as it is half professional and no funny comments just say it.
I believe interest and basic knowledge about topic matters in writing essay as you wouldn’t be able to sync everything and not be able understand ( at first place) and cannot write as I had some difficulty in talking about diseases as I am not a doctor or bio major.
Tone: as the audience is totally profession, the tone and language is formal, no jokes and mostly straight to the point,
Peer reviewed: Structure issues, MLA format (Double space,) basically layout issues.
Drafting: Some serious issue in format and layout (in copying the model essay), chronological order, a major part was missing in developing the question like what I am talking (question) or call it background was missing. In draft I forgot to talk about what is air pollution, same goes with subdivisions like global warming. I didn’t know there were certain rules for first page, I was jumping straight to the essay. There was an issue when u can’t define thing in simple words to people like how can u teach a kid how clouds are filled with water (he won’t be able to understand precipitation and condensation)
Link between CO2 and global warming, I thought it would be little difficult to teach or just assume mostly the audience know about it so don’t need to talk about it. I would have to talk about greenhouse effect, it is a process sun rays come to earth (Infrared rays) and they lose their half or most of it energy, while returning clouds of CO2 blocked them from going back. But it can popup a question that how can a gas cloud some rays there are low in energy they can’t leave the earth air surface, Troposphere.
Other aspects: Writing was easy but when I tried to add picture there were copyrights issue.
Past: I used to dump in what is relevant but now I have to see what is relevant to the topic plus audience as I can’t talk about the compounds with everyone and it would be scary and boring too for some people. First time using citationsApril 9, 2019 at 12:01 pm #366Terence
ParticipantHas a lot of interesting information and insight into his own writing. He is honest in sharing his self perceived flaws in his writing and I think he has a great outline to start for the paper.
He definitely defined his audience really well and did a great job highlighting its importance as well as outlines his formatting of paragraphs very well for anyone looking to write simialiarly

KeymasterI agree with the comment that the audience for the reflection is well-defined. And, I think there’s great content to address all of the required elements in the reflection. The one thing that could be added is a little discussion of synthesis. What was your experience with integrating your research with your own writing? Other than that, the content here is very strong. It just needs to be cleaned up for submission.
